Myth = imaginary historical phenomena. So Mark, what are you stimulating, philosophic daimontair musing? The Oxford English Dictionary notes that ‘Parliamentary control is a myth’ which strikes a factual note currently, but about diamonds; symmetry currently appears to supersede sparkle as the core requirement of the diamond appreciation myth, a move from man’s appreciation to that of machine and that might be your answer to the query you ponder, in that machine will supersede man and concurrently myth.
